Here is a little Throwback Thursday with my kids.
My children are thirteen and 16 at this time. When I think of my footprint and legacy, I think of my home first.
I have made it my mission that I want to be my children's hero. Every opportunity I'm given to prove that I'm hero status, I take full advantage of it.
They are both super athletes. When that commentator drops that mic in front of them and asks, "Who is your Hero?", I want them to say "My Dad is my Hero".
As for the world, I want to leave a person changed in whatever way we make contact. It could be a Podcast, phone call, social media post, or in person. I want them to feel that they have been touched in a deep, intimate way, and are better than they were before I met them.

Whatever you believe in, as you lay in your bed, all those opportunities flash in front of you that you thought were an obstacle.
Was it a distraction?
In reality, it was an opportunity for you to step into something much bigger than what you found comfort in. The challenge of life is not to become complacent. Any day that you wake up, and you're blessed with that day, take full advantage of looking at it from a fresh perspective. Don't be the One who lays in your bed and sees that life and its opportunities passed them by.
Do not regret not seizing those opportunities to make your life something spectacular!

Do I stay in the safe, familiar raft of my past experiences and claim to my past perceptions even in the face of new opportunities? Do I have the courage to release my grip on the raft of past ideas? Letting go allows you to dive headfirst into a pool of bigger streams of consciousness.

We put too much value on comfort. When people are in their comfort zone, they really don't want it to be disrupted. But I want you to do an experiment with me. It's kind of morbid, but envision you are laying in your deathbed. Your body is ready to move on to the afterlife.

A Proper Outlook on life is Necessary to Change Our Lives
We must be honest about our environment if we want outlook on life to change.
Your current condition is being fed by your environment.
We have to get a new and proper perspective. Your environment is contributing to your disparity.
Take a look around; some places we cannot stay.
Are you ready to change your perspective? Your outlooks is a reflection of what is going on inside you.
I'm not where I want to be but thank God I'm not where I used to be.

Being committed and having controversy is not easy.
Being committed and disappointed is not easy. Being committed without recognition is not easy.
Being committed and not being appreciated is not easy.
Surround yourself with people who are fit for the fight and the work, and not just for the fun.
